I wanna go to Paris, too!  :\\\'(

But I'm old and not a student.

I'm old too, but I heard Paris is for lovers... ;)

But is it for toddlers and babies as well?  ;)

I was in Paris for the last week of February.

Here are my top three recommendations:

St. Chapelle  (amazing!)
Sacre Coeur
The Dome Church - home of Napoleon's Tomb

Notre Dame is overrated - IMO.

my relative's best friend's granddaughter has offered me a room, and company  :)

those are the best connections!

the whole Paris is for lovers myth I don't get.... lovers of Paris I completely understand though!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

definitely check out the churches...
St. Chapelle is gorgeous, huge stained glass windows, try to attend a concert
Sacre Coeur and the walk around Montmarte is great, you can see the view of the city from up there
Notre Dame just seems overrated because too many tourists and gypsies out front, go to a mass... you will never forget it!

walk along the Seine

We've been with little kids and had a great time!  Don't let little ones keep you at home.   ;)

Paris is great!

Definitely, do the Eiffel Tower, the lines may be long... but the views are amazing.  I had no idea how high it towers over the city.

FYI, the Louvre is open to the public with no admission charge the first Sunday of every month.  So when I go to Paris I usually go over the first weekend as well so I can spend time in the Louvre.  I guess I will get completely through it after about 10 trips.  :-)  There are some beautiful churches in Paris and I have to agree with another poster Notre Dame is overrated.

One of my favorite things to do is walk from the Louvre up to the Arc de Triumphe.  It's a great walk in the springtime.

Nothing good ever comes from a bad attitude.

I agree with everyone about St. Chapelle! It's beautiful!!

As for the Eiffel Tower, if you're going in the winter, don't expect any queues at all!

Thank you everyone!

I am starting to get nervous if the protests will continue to escalate...I am hoping for the best.

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.
