Sorry if that is all boring for some of you!  I just thought it was kind of interesting...

No, that's really interesting! I didn't know the exact numbers, but more or less knew that chocolate, decaf coffee, etc. are OK for me. I'm not pregnant (thank goodness!), but I just have a really bad reaction to caffeine in amounts greater than what I get in decaf products. I can tell within about 3 minutes if I'm mistakenly given full-caff coffee -- cold sweats, racing heart, the shakes, etc. It's not pleasant and I'm pretty much useless for an hour or so afterwards.

I did a search, and it's on Twinings's US web site, but not their UK one. :(

the Food Standards Agency  recommends that pregnant women should limit their intake of caffeine consumption to less than 300mg/ day (equivalent to 6 cups of tea/ day).

SIX CUPS OF TEA A DAY!! YIKES!! I couldn't even drink that much without getting the jitters!
