Bringing up this old topic again...

I recently read that 3mg of melatonin at bedtime was shown to be helpful to some tinnitus sufferers.  I've actually been taking 1mg to try and reset my internal clock (I hate daylight savings time!) and may try upping the dosage to 3mg just to see what happens.  (One mg isn't helping....ears are ringing as I type...) :P
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Lay off the cigarettes and the salt. That's what an ENT Doc told me once. I have had constant tinnitus for probably 15 years. I prefer to keep the tv or radio on all day to help 'mask' the ringing.

No problem w/the cigarettes, but salt?  Don't know if I can give that up!!!  :P

I tend to keep the tv on for background noise as well...I don't notice the ringing so much when there is other noise around.  I keep a fan on in the bedroom for the same reason...

(FYI - the melatonin didn't do a thing to help...)  :(
