The brits will appreciate your labor of making creamed corn from scratch....or at least mine always have.  They have always gone back for 2nds and then i've seen them scrape the pan for every last kernal and teaspoon of cream!  So yes it is worth it!  And besides who wants the canned type with all the additives when you can have fresh?? YUM
