I'm 6 weeks away, in theory, from delivering this baby and I'm going MENTAL trying to find the SIMPLEST thing. I have what I would call a crib. It was purchased in the UK 6 years ago for my first son. It looks like a normal US crib..... is is called a crib? Or a cot? or a cot bed?
I only ask because I'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to find bedding for the stupid thing. We've got another bed, which I *think* is a cot - - it is like a large bassinette. We're making the bedding for that by hand since it is an odd size.
But for the "crib", oh god I'm losing my mind over this. I want solid brown & solid green fitted sheets. That's all. This is what I want:
http://www.babybedding.com/solid-colors-crib-beddingThat is a US site, a site that doesn't ship to the UK. I'm happy to buy the stuff, ship it to my dad, and have him mail it to me..... but would the dimensions be the same? For a US "crib" and a UK "cribcotbedwhatever"?
I've spent weeks trying to sort this out on my own. Please help me, my hormone-riddled pregnancy brain is overwhelmed.
I do NOT want white sheets, or anything pastel. I want dark brown, and forest green. Alternatively, a pattern for the UK size so my mother in law can just make me some.
Why is it always so hard to find the simples things?
Why does being pregnant make you so crazy over the stupidest things?
