Drive Thru I wish!!

It can be. One visit to NJ before we got married and I was out walking, that was fine as the small town had pavements, but I needed to use an ATM, there was a bank with a drive-thru so I walked into the bank and was looking for an ATM inside as well, when I asked they said "it's outside in the drive-thru", so I was expected to stand in line with the cars!!! I then remembered the Wawa store had one inside so went there instead.
I've also been to drive-thru ice cream parlors, drive-thru pharmacies......in NJ there's no need to ever leave your car as they pump the gas for you!

My local bank was like that for years, it drove me nuts. I have a tiny car and it's hard for me to use the drive through ATMs, they're built for cars higher off the ground! Also, what if you're the passenger needing to use the ATM? They finally fairly recently put in an ATM in the lobby but really, it's a little ridiculous.

That being said, drive up banking is good, it's the only form of drive through I use pretty much ever (and not even very frequently at that). It's nice because it usually stays open later than the lobby.

Truth!

I tried to use a drive through ATM once, and had to actually open my door and step out and stand up to reach the buttons.  The person behind me was trying not to laugh.
