Hello, hope this isnt too late for you to use..

Application type:  Spouse visa
Place:  New York Consulate
Dates: 10/6/10 email confirming receipt - 6/7/10 email confirming visa issued

The process was fine from submission to receipt of the visa, very smooth; the only thing was we were caught up in the short period that summer where priority processing via post was stopped.  I believe another version of it started up again on the 16 of June which really frustrated us at the time! 

I hope this is a temporary break, because UK-Y is a better community for having you.
