Two years ago someone at work went on a business trip to the US and was sent home with Girl Scout Cookies.  She put them in the kitchen and came to tell us she had some American biscuits.  Someone asked what they were like and she said they were for the "guides".  I snapped my head up and said "GIRL SCOUT COOKIES?!?"  We had 3 Americans at the office back then and we raced to the kitchen.  It was really funny. ;D

That's hilarious!  There is another American in my office, but I don't think I'd be that generous.

I just got back from Florida where I bought some girl scout cookies and they were not nearly as good as I remember....
I just had a call from my mom who opened one of the boxes i ordered... she complained that they were not as good as normally been. :( She opened the peanut butter patties... So we will see once I get them.

This is what I have heard as well so I am not bothering this year. Besides my tastes have been changing since I arrived so really don't crave any US sweets anymore. I still miss good salsa though!  :)

Two boxes 'mysteriously' appeared overnight (one mint kind  :-*)  Guess the Girl Scouts are selling at the Mall.

Perhaps it is because they removed the transfats and most no longer use HFCS?

Oh the irony if that is why.
