Here's a fun recipe for you: Saf's Diabolical Rumballs.
4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup sweetened cocoa (I use Ghirardelli)
honey
1 cup crushed walnuts (I don't use these at all)
1 cup rum (I use 151
but you can use regular)
1/2 cup bourbon
powdered sugar to coat
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until all wet and mushy. Use more honey for taste, more rum for consistency. Form into balls (this stuff will
coat your hands, so beware! Roll the balls in powdered sugar. Eat. Do not operate heavy machinery.
Will keep at least 2 weeks in the fridge.
I send these to work with my hubby and his whole office gets buzzed. (Seriously...look at the alcohol in these things!) They have them before lunch and by 5 are fine to drive home again, so it works well. I say, what's the point of a rumball if it isn't like doing a shot??
