My fear is when people take a 5 inch bundle of paperwork as they have every photo they've ever had together and loads of written statements, etc.  Will the NY office have to hire people to sift through all the noise to find the required documents and only send what's necessary or will they scan the entire bundle?  I wonder if they are using sophisticated scanning software that is intelligent or not.  I suspect not....  ::)
I'm concerned too. Especially reading past posts from applicants who fell into the trap and purchased the "Settlement Premium Package." Where at the in-person appointment the applicant watched as VFS personnel sifted through the supporting documentation and pulled out items they thought were not relevant and the applicant having to argue with them to include the necessary items.

So, crossing fingers that the NY hub will staff knowledgeable people. Hoping this doesn't create further delay/creating a longer queue for scanning the documents, another place for paid priority applications to fall through the cracks and a delay of return items due to the added middleman. Argh, sorry to sound like a pessimist, after reading so many uphill battles with VFS/UKVI it's hard at stay positive at times. Planning to submit in early October... hence the anxiety.
