No, just leave it blank.

You’ll confuse them if you put a number in there when you don’t have one.

Home Office Reference Numbers are only issued on letters from UKVI when you make a certain type of application inside the UK, usually when you have had a visa refusal or have made an appeal.

I've left it blank - I'm not putting anything in there that doesn't make sense - i don't want to give them any excuses to refuse the appointment. I can't wait till me and the wife are free from all of this.
