Got to admit, English cricket support is a fair-weather phenomenon. Its nothing like the subcontinent fans who are far more devoted to the sport regardless how their team is doing at the moment. For example, two years ago, you could not find any cricket merchandise at Lillywhite's (piccadily) if you tried....just David Beckham stuff, and some golf items. Now I bet the place is crawling with Flintoff this and Flintoff that.
Just an observation based on years of watching cricket in several parts of the world.
