I had to go to my GP today for a routine antenatal check up. After testing my blood pressure and urine, he tells me I have to get to the hospital right away

, not a good thing to hear when you think you're just going in for a general visit lol. Apparently my blood pressure was very high and there was +1 protein in my urine which made him think I might have pre-clampsia,so after he scared me by talking about how they might be inducing me today, I was rushed to the hospital. There my blood pressure was still high but this time I had +2 protein, ,so after blood and urine tests and waiting 3 hours to hear the results I was told "Oh your blood tests show you don't have pre-clampsia,we aren't sure why you have the protein, your urine test isn't back yet"

But since my blood pressure is so high now my midwife has to come around every other day to take my blood pressure. Usually my blood pressure is 110/60, today it was 134/86

... A bit scary for me because I never had any problems with my pregnancy before
