That's what I didn't understand. First off, I was the only patient required to be there at 7:30. When the people who arrived later complained about having to wait an hour or two, that really pricked a nerve. Next to me, the second most serious operation was meant to be on this proverbial cute little old lady, but then they ruled her out because her blood pressure was too high. But they did that only after she'd been there for six hours. I don't know how they plan things there, but something must change. I will say that there was a nurse who frequently called the surgery theater to see what was going on, but all they did was put her off. I can understand why you switched.
What really has me even more concerned is the fact that I'm due for hip replacement surgery sometime in June (I haven't received the letter yet). Who KNOWS what will happen that day?
