I've been reading your Nando's thread but with my Portuguese snobbish hat on because it's not really Portuguese food and I'll never eat there because I'm Portuguese BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!  Sooo today I was at the Trafford Centre and took a look at the menu.  Well what did my eyes see but my most favorite Portuguese dessert!!  A surprise to me because like I said I don't really think it's all that Portuguese.  SOooooo I ordered 2 of the naughty natas to go (quejadas de nata ) and took them home for us to try.  I've eaten them all my life and S/O had them when we went to Lisbon as well as at my parents house.  So we thought we were suitable experts in the nata department.  It was YUMMY!!  Pretty darn close to the original.  Only problem is they cost 1.60 GBP!!  That's very expensive for a teeny little custard tart!!

Glad everyone had a good time there.
