I'm not an experienced climber, but I LOVE hiking and climbing, and I'm pretty brave. I've done a few climbs that were probably out of my league a bit, but I had an experienced climber with me and I learn fast, so I did okay. And yes, I would love to do some trips to the Peak District! I'm so looking forward to being able to go out and romp in the English countryside!  ;D

Ok, then!  You are on!  Yay for climbing and hiking!

A friend of mine and myself decided yesterday that we were fed up with our old boring gym routine.  So, last night we met at the high school track and walked/ran/sprinted 3 miles!  Interval training, I think it is called.  I feel great!  And it was so nice to exercise outdoors!  ;D

Anyone else do something out of their norm recently?

I throw the steps into this as well.  I usually run a mile warm-up then 10 set's of 10 stair climbs with an 800 at a good pace in between.  It's a really great workout - good for the butt!

It does sound great.  Our track is really, umm, well, bad.  There aren't any bleachers to do steps!  But, at least we have the track.  Can't be too picky, you know.  ;)

I've recently added a couple of classes to my routine. I am doing a Body Balance class once a week and a Body Pump class once a week. I am trying to go to the gym for my regular workout 3 mornings a week rather than the ridiculous 5 days that I had been doing. The 5 days a week was just obsessive and adding the classes should make it more fun and social for me, I hope.
