Thing is it is all about calories. Even with Atkins and South Beach and Sugar Busters...you usually consume less calories. Studies are now showing that the statistical difference in total weight loss over a 12 month period is insignificant...though low carb does work quicker in the first 6 months.
The key really is just to make it a lifestyle. I have lost and gained and lost and gained no matter what program, but it is due to my not keeping with the portion control and healthy eating.
I think it is really a matter of personal choice and what you think you can make a lifestyle.
As for the excersize....
no advice there..they keep telling you to do what you love.... so......what if you don't love it?
I try to walk more, and just do it....
I feel good after it, but lord is it hard to get started!
