Yeah, my sister is dying to get her kindergartener back in...because he's only in morning kindergarten, he didn't have school, yet again today.  And he was sick the day before the first ice storm.  So he's been out of school forever and he's at that age where he really needs the structure of school.

I can imagine! We had a two hour delay this morning, but we have full-day Kindergarten so it didn't really affect those kids. In some ways it was almost like the first day of school!

Here we go again. Freezing drizzle more than 12 hours last night, and woke up at 4:00am to find the news channels chattering on about jack-knifed big rigs, black ice, school closings and generally treacherous driving conditions. DH and I watched in awe, snuggled in bed with coffee and hot cocoa. Welcome to Winter in Texas!
