Favourite Christmas films

I don't like it either.  Can't stand Jimmy Stewart's voice.

I love A Christmas Carol in its various guises and we will be seeing a theatre version at Ford's Theatre in Washington DC when we go to the States for Thanksgiving. Really looking forward to that, a bit of sightseeing and history with the theatre where Lincoln was assasinated, together with a good show.

A recent favourite Christmas film for me is Joyeux Noel, about the Christmas day cease fire in the WW1 trenches.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

It's on my list of favourite movies of all time.

Last year, we did watch Die Hard though.  It's a Christmas movie as well!

YES!  I absolutely love the Muppets and this is their best one, next to Treasure Island.

I also love It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th - it isn't Christmas without them!  It's a Wonderful Life is one of my all-time favourite movies.  

I also watch, every year, Home Alone, The Santa Clause, and all the Rankin/Bass puppet/claymation movies.  I must be a kid at heart.
