Maybe I will get a snow day from work.  I bet it wouldn't matter though as we are working to release our earnings!

Mrs R, I'm afraid you're just gonna have to convince your hubby that you have to move to Spain.

I know!  I tell him that all the time.  I was just so so so cold all day yesterday.

Today seemed a little better & the sun came out.

At least we're not getting it like so much of the US - all the snow dumping.  That would really suck.

People here (work) keep asking what I think about the snow that should be coming.  I told them that I'm quitting winter.  I wish I could say that I'm quitting work!

In December I ordered a snow shovel.  It was out of stock and was back ordered.  It arrived today, but I really don't need to use it.  I can wait. I am quite sure it would be very happy to sit in the garage until next year or the year after or the year after........

At least when spring does come in the British Isles you get a good long dose of it. In northeastern US we get loppered with snow until March -- sometimes April -- then a brief period of mud. There's about a week in May when the flowers suddenly bloom and the trees come into leaf (allergies!) and then immediately after it seems to go to 90 degree heat.

it just puts me in such a rotten mood.  I wish people could hibranate too!  Last winter I was unemployed and never had to leave the apartment, if it wouldn't mean being broke and homless I could go for unemployment for the winter!

I'm all for hibernating.  [smiley=sleeping2.gif] I feel totally closed in and cut off from everything. And exhausted from all the shoveling and even just trying to walk in the stuff without killing myself.
