When it rains it pours!  Congrats on all the interviews.   :)

Many thanks! I feel a tad guilty, given the number of folks on this forum who are having trouble finding work. But I'm also enjoying feeling wanted out there in the world. :)

Hope the interviews went well, despite feeling rubbish, hms_seahorse.  Are you feeling better at least?

Getting there -- working 20 hours at the pub over the weekend knocked me back. Hoping to shake this nuisance entirely over the weekend.

As for interviews ... I've now got three processes on the go, and all are in advanced stages. I might have one or more offers by the end of next week! And even if I don't get one, I'm now confident my skill set is highly desired. That in and of itself has eased my anxieties about finding work in my career sooner than later.

Thanks for asking! :D

Hopefully, a bit of good weather will give you a boost, mentally and physically. Crossing fingers for you!  :)

I don't work this weekend, so I'm determined to make it a restorative one, alternating fresh air and napping, which is my best most favourite hobby of them all.

Aaaaand boom. Job offer in.

Have contacted the other two companies (one of which has taken the process to quite the advanced stages; the other of which rejected me, but said they want to create a new position for me) to see what they're thinking, because I don't want to let a good opportunity get away.

Sooooo close to having it all sorted. Feeling chuffed. Who wants to go off down the pub?

Accepted the job offer -- just wanted to thank everyone for the positive support!

FWIW, I was naughty and actually left the piercing in when I went for the first interview with this company, because I was ill and couldn't be arsed and didn't think I was going to want the job anyhow. It's a history best told over pints, but I obviously have some lingering PTSD from the last company I worked for in the same sector (albeit in the States), so I was prepared to hate this one. (Am well aware how irrational that is.)

But I didn't! I love them! And they love me! And there's delight all round with my hiring!

Thanks again, everyone.
