And dark chocolate kitkats...mmm

Aren't those wonderful?!?  I have some of them along with the dark chocolate digestives (which I also enjoy very much) in the pantry.  Yum!!   ;D

The packet is a bit shorter and it's a dark red colour, just to help you find them. They tend to be about 1.5 quid, 1 if you get em on a good sale. I keep them in the fridge and oooh... so yummy.

Thanks!  I like to keep certain chocolate products in the fridge too - like those aforementioned dc digestives (although in the cold season they are great straight out of the pantry).   ;)

Sorry -- I stand corrected.  But dark choc. is a fairly recent enthusiasm.  Traditionally it was all about milk choc.  I think the dark Kit Kats and so on have appeared only in the last few years or so.

I just took your comment to mean dark chocolate drink products (despite my drama queen response - I can be rather silly sometimes   [smiley=clown.gif] ) .  It's still not that easy to find the dark choc. Ensure in the US, so I would agree that it isn't as popular here......  yet.    ;)

As for the dc Kit Kats, my soon to be sister-in-law mentioned the same thing.

Me too!  Why mess up perfectly good chocolate by adding milk?!?

... Of course there are emergency situations that call for grabbing whatever chocolate is available.   ;D

Oh, dark chocolate is HUGE. It' absolutely everywhere. You can even get dark chocolate Hobnobs, which are WAY better then milk chocolate Hobnobs.

I finally found dark chocolate Hobnobs!  Oh. My. Word!  I owe you one for that recommendation lyonaria - thank you! ;D

They are absolutely fantastic with hot chocolate, a cold  glass of milk, tea (I'm sure coffee as well, I just don't drink much of that anymore)....

So, someone help me out here..... the oats makes them breakfast food, right?  ;)

They are TOTALLY worth it, aren't they? I just love them. I keep them in the fridge cause if they get melty they stick together.

I just eat them...sometimes for breakfast... hahaha.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Yup, they are totally worth it.  My newest addiction.   ;D

So far it hasn't been warm enough to melt them at all, but in warmer weather I'll do that too.  The fridge works great with dark choc. digestives.   :)
