Very weird problem with VFS Global Payment systems

For those who were following this issue:

I was this evening able to complete payment for priority processing and get the correct receipts!!

Hope the good news continues.....and a positive week ahead for everyone!

Yeah, they have issues with the VFS site ALL. THE. TIME.

My biggest tip would be to not leave paying for priority or shipping until the last minute as it can often be down or buggy for a few days.  Nice, eh?

But I thought we couldn't pay for priority or shipping until we'd applied online?

Well you need your GWF number from your application to purchase them, but it depends when that GWF number is allocated.

If you get it before you have submitted the online application, you can sort out priority/shipping then. If not, you'll have to wait.

However I'm sure I've seen people say they have purchased them at least before biometrics, but not sure about before applying online.
