I had been planning on applying for my visa in October but have been waiting for many weeks for my husband to finally get his letter verifying his payslips. He'd already had a letter his HR department e-mailed him, but it didn't include the part about the payslips. They only sent him a link to where he could print them (which is the same place he prints them anyway). Since it was e-mailed, he also didn't have a wet signature. He was also having trouble getting a hold of his manager, as he works nights, and he rarely ever sees her. He is a security concierge and usually by himself. He finally managed to talk to her over the phone one day, and she told him to e-mail PDFs of his payslips to HR to verify. He did this and listed the other things he needed in the letter. They e-mailed him today to let them know they sent the letter. Fingers crossed and hoping everything we need is in that letter as this whole situation has caused me a lot of anxiety, and I would like to somehow get everything in before Christmas or at least January 1st.
And my first question is about council housing. He hasn't been on housing benefit for years, but he does still live in council housing and pays the full rent. Is there anything we need to do other than mention this on the Appendix 2 form? (I'm hoping we don't need another letter)
Also, someone had mentioned providing logs (from Skype, etc.) of our conversations together. What stresses me about that is we have been together nearly 8 years and talk to each other pretty much every day. So, I have years of correspondence and can't print every conversation we've ever had. Exactly how much should I send?
Thank you.
