Hi mate, in relation to documentation, they ask for six pieces of documents on both our names or 2 each per individual name. Am I right in thinking it could be the same bill for example, council tax for 2018/ council tax for 2019 ( 2 documents although both from council tax)
So it would be fine using the same company / supplier but 2 different letters. I have multiple gas & elec bills/ water rate/ council tax/ 1 joint bank account
I’m hoping that multiple bills although months apart should be okay. Thanks in advance.
The requirements are:
- 6 items in each name (either jointly addressed, or 2 separately addressed items dated around the same time as each other, or a combination of both joint and individual items, making 6 in each name)
- spread evenly over the last 2.5 years (so one in each name, every 5 months)
- from at least 3 different official sources (i.e. for joint items, 2 bank statements, 2 electricity bills, 2 council tax bills, or if they are individual items, you might have 6 bank statements, 2 electricity bills, 1 council tax bill, 1 NHS letter, 1 HMRC letter, 1 water bill)
So, for example, if you are applying in December 2019, you will want mail from the following months:
June 2017
1. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in June 2017
Nov 2017
2. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in Nov 2017
Apr 2018
3. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in Apr 2018
Sept 2018
4. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in Sep 2018
Feb 2019
5. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in Feb 2019
July 2019
6. Joint in both names, or one in each name, both dated in July 2019
