ILR Set(M) questions and advice
« on: May 26, 2022, 12:55:26 PM »
Hi all

I'm applying for indefinite leave to remain and would really appreciate some additional eyes when it comes to gathering the required information. I was able to secure a super priority appointment for next month, but I'm a little confused. When you go to the booking site to book and appointment date, it's just listed as a standard appointment. Is that correct? I'm assuming this just means that I'm booking a 'normal' appointment that doesnt include the extra stuff you pay for like document scanning and isn't at a premium lounge, which is fine, I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. This was also a free appointment.

Also, does my partner need to come with me? I think last time I renewed they weren't allowed in the building, but just want to check and make sure.

In the meantime, I thought it would be a good idea to use my time wisely and make sure I've got all my ducks in a row beforehand.

With regards to my employer letter, does the letter need to say I'm being paid monthly?
The visa application says I need the following information:
1. the employment;
2. the gross annual salary;
3. how long the employment has been/was held;
4. the period over which the person has been paid the level of salary stated in their application; and
5. the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency),

But the info included in the letter below is what I currently have and I'm trying to clarify as to whether or not I need additional information (i.e., this salary is paid monthly).

Also, I would appreciate clarification on my cohabitation documents. Ideally as to whether or not the months are right or not. As of now, the only joint documentation I have is listed below and I was hoping to ensure the timing is correct before foraging for other documents, whether they be addressed separately or not.

Just checking again for any assistance...I think I was able to answer some of my questions from previous posts but would really appreciate some confirmation of my prepared documentation ahead of my appointment on the 18th.

I'm going to get my employer letter altered and the mail evidence I've picked out is as follows:

Cohabitation
◎ Mail evidence:
Dec 2019 - joint gas bill
May 2020 - joint gas bill
October 2020 - joint gas bill
March 2021 - joint council tax bill
August 2021 - applicant bank statement, spouse internet bill
January 2022 - applicant IRS letter, spouse internet bill
June 2022 -

Will it be a problem if I use mail from May 2022 instead of June 2022?
