UK Citizenship Application - Checklist

Hi all,

This is more just a sanity check than anything, as I have just booked my appointment to submit my application for UK Citizenship (I received ILR in March 2022).

Is there any significant documentation that needs to be uploaded to the UKVCAS website other than a scan of the marriage certificate, passports, and the referee letters?

Sorry if I'm missing something, I know others have said the Citizenship application is a breeze hence why it's more a sanity check!

Just to be clear, as the application says you need to have been living in the UK for 3 years prior (as spouse of a British citizen), do I not need to submit documentation showing that I have been living in the UK for 3 years?

The document list in the thread you sent doesn't say anything about these documents. I am not an EEA National (US Citizen currently) so does my passport alone suffice?

Yes, you just submit your passport.

Different laws. Up to and including ILR, is the Immgration law. An applications for British citizenship is under the Nationality law.
