Taking a kitty to the UK from Canada
« on: February 10, 2023, 07:01:41 PM »
Hi all! My step-daughter lives in Canada and has a feline friend she would like to bring over with her in a move back home to Scotland. I would SERIOUSLY appreciate any help that you can give. From details about preparing to transport to how! I have no clue how to advise her and can’t do it alone.

I'm completely out of touch with current regulations but this is the starting point for your research. Best of luck.  :)

And once she has an idea of where she can fly into, have her get in touch with the Animal Reception Centre at that airport and have them explain the procedure and make sure she's aware of exactly what paperwork she needs.

Where does she live? I used https://seaair.ca/ with a direct flight from Toronto to Gatwick. All of the required vet visits happened in NY though.

She lives just outside of Calgary. We will look into that link!

Let me know if it's still a decent company for that purpose - helpful to know if it's changed for future people who come here/FB groups.
