ILR - proof of correspondence

I am planning to apply for ILR (through marriage) in October. Do my pieces of correspondence have to span the 2 or 2.5 years before that? And how do they have to be spaced out?

I am planning to apply for ILR (through marriage) in October. Do my pieces of correspondence have to span the 2 or 2.5 years before that? And how do they have to be spaced out?

Unless the wording has changed recently, they ask for mail since your last grant of leave to remain. This is usually 2.5 years, which works out at a 5 month spacing. Some people use an extra piece of mail to help with the spacing, it makes it easier.
