Citizenship Approved!

Well, after almost 4 months of waiting, I received my citizenship approval email from the Home Office today!

For those of you tracking Citizenship timelines: I submitted biometrics on June 6 and received approval on October 2. My math says that equals 4 months less 4 days!

I'll let you know how long it takes to get a ceremony slot here in Greenwich, and then how long it takes to get the passport.

Even though I will be back, I just want to say thank you again to all the lovely, talented, and super helpful people on this forum. And a special thank you to the experts who are absolute aces!!!  I quite literally could NOT have done it without this amazing community. Wishing all the best to everyone waiting for approvals as well.

Thanks all! And the ceremony is booked too. I could not believe they had a slot in just a couple of weeks from now.

Passport came today!
So the dates are as follows:
June 6 - Citizenship application submitted
October 2 - Citizen application approved
October 19 - Citizenship ceremony
October 25 - Submitted passport application online (very straightforward)
November 2 - Passport received (6 business days later)

Once again, just want to thank everyone on this forum, and in particular the amazing experts. And sending best wishes and good luck to current applicants at all the various stages! You will get there. ;)
