No room for all my food!!!!
« on: January 26, 2005, 11:27:38 AM »
The danger of going home a few times a year is the overstuffage of one's suitcases!

I went home and brought back 2 suitcases full of:
Trader Joe's Rice Crackers, Granny Smith Dried Apple rings, Soy Chips, and Lots more Natural foods
Sugar free Jello and pudding (i think about 20 boxes!)
A ton of 100 calorie packs (in wheat thins, cheeze its, chips ahoy)
Microvae popcorn (the light and 94% ff kind).  LOTS of it
No pudge brownie mix
Sugar free hot coco (the swiss miss marshmellow kind).  MMMMM.
A big plastic tub of Fluff

SOoo much more.

I am a snackaholic it seems like!  And one of my new years resolutions was to drop the habit!  Looks like i'm making this stuff last till the end of the year!   :o

I was the same way... I always cart food back and forth from country to country because there are things I miss from all over.  I basically rationalize everything though.  If you can get it fairly easily even if it's more expensive then I leave it.

Have fun eating all that though!  Just stay OP. :)

i am, that's why i bought the stuff !!!!!!!  :)

And all of it i can't find here, so i was ok with that.  Even the hubs was happy as it's mostly 'light' food.  Plus we don't have to fork out ££ on snacks for a long time!!!!!

My mom was putting all of her 'side' dish packets (like alfredo noodles and stuff) in there and i said NOOO!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and i did get some Annies shells (the cheddar and mac kind).  YUM.  But i got them in individual packs so as not to over eat!

Also Amiloo... one thing I did was crush down the boxes or in the case of the mac and cheese I just brought the sauce packets and left the mac.. I used Barilla mac here and it was lovely... They also sell little shell pasta and that's nice too.  I did the same for the Stove Top and just packed the inside.. you can always cut out the how to make it part if you need it.  Just a way to fit more in!  ;D
