A little update to this since I left you all hanging (ahem, so to speak...).

We did'nt get Murphy neutered. DH was too worried that it would really traumatize him - IF we were even able to catch him to put him in a carrier.

The next door neighbor kittens did go into heat and Murphy AND some other tom cat were very happy.  ::)  However the kittens have just been spayed. So we now have no need to worry about cute little kittens living in our garage.

Alls well that end well.  :)
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Oooh... she has the same mean stare as my very grumpy cat, Boris!  Too funny!

That's just part of her new collar! It glows green in direct light  and has little mice on it hehe

See? This is what drives me insane? Why on earth would you get a cat if you aren't going to care for it properly?

Grrrrr. Mutter mutter mutter.....

Kind of makes me laugh to read this!  I've been in the US for a year and am totally disgusted at how so many dogs are treated as nothing more than garden ornaments - left in the back yard 24/7 no matter what the weather!  And there are so many free roaming dogs which has made my life a misery as I have been chased and attacked by these animals when trying to exercise my dog.  Never in Britain did I ever have this problem!

Oh, and seeing dogs dead on the freeway every single day - awful!

Funny thing is that when cat owners move to America they get all upset at how in the US the cats are declawed - something that isn't done in the UK!  Mind you, I will admit that the cats did used to get on my nerves - constantly disposing of their waste matter in my garden!  Although, where I live there are a couple of cats and I have found evidence of them visiting the yard here - I guess it is just that in America they are kept indoors more than out and vice versa in the UK.

Thanks for that, Tebs!

I should really put before and after photos- she's just so much different now than when she arrived on my MIL Garage roof!  She's a happy girl now and her "look of death" turns into one of love once she's awake properly  ;D

We felt bad for her today as she was trying to munch some rogue grass growing on our patio (we live 3 flights up!) but only has gums on the sides...awww hehe I hope her tummy is ok! Is it normal for cats to eat grass?

Cats are so beautiful...period. (Although I've never been that fond of the purebred Persian "my face seems to be the result of running into a brick wall at 200 miles per hour" look....)
