Sport and Social Clubs?
« on: March 17, 2005, 08:04:41 AM »
Hi Everybody,
Just a quick question.  When I lived in Chicago the city had lot's of "Sport and Social Clubs" usually things like intermural sports Softball, Baseball, Flag Football etc.  Are there any similar leagues or clubs in the London/Oxford area that offer sports like this to adults?

Anybody hear of any recreational Baseball or Softball leagues around?  Or should I just adapt and pretend to like soccer?
Thanks,
Stephan

hello everyone,

Been Living in the Kent area the last 6 years and have enjoyed the last 4 immensely......

3 years ago I joined a American football club based in mid Kent at the age of 27....... thought Football was over for me after high school. I have enjoyed it ever since. I am writing this to let all know that, if you have a passion for American Football and live near the mid Kent area......

THE MAIDSTONE PUMAS AFC currently have openings for players, coaches, assistants, boosters, front office volunteers, and supporters.

We are a non profit club and play in the British Senior league and to come and watch games its free. There are several clubs around the UK if your not from the area.

I play hockey and cricket through clubs.  There are clubs for everything in London!
