Dinner was silly tonight because of a silly mistake I made.  I grabbed a jar of Lloyd's pasta sauce yesterday for a quick dinner tonight.  I thought I grabbed the chili tomato sauce but it was actually the bolognese and pancetta sauce and we didn't realize it until it was poured all over our veggie sausages and mushrooms.  Duh!  So hubby had veggie sausages smothered in a double meat pasta sauce over polenta.  I had to make  up a super quick sauce out of nearly no ingredients--it came out pretty good in the end, and I had that over polenta as well, plus we had steamed broccoli.

The same tomato and bleu cheese pasta sauce as last night but this time with gnocchi, some zucchini, spinach and a little bit of garlic bread.  Mmmmm.

This sauce turned out to be anything but 'mmmmmmmmm' on the second night.  :(

Must note that it is a one-night-only kinda thing.

We had whole wheat sapghetti last night for dinner I now prefer whole wheat pasta over normal pasta these day.  ;)  ;D

I almost always eat the whole wheat pasta- it fills me up longer, so I don't have to eat as much and I like the chewiness.  :)

Some random meal...mince with corn and gravy then threw it in a pastry pie pan and topped with cubbed potatoes - it was good and simple!
That sounds good!!!
