I made a tofu-veggie hot and sour noodle soup to try and scare this cold outta my body - Its nice and hot and sour and its making my nose run even more- so hopefully it does the trick

What do you put in this?  I used to looooove hot and sour soup--been a long time since I've had it.

Florida Spring vegetable soup
I wonder what vegetables are Florida vegetables?

Hubby's out this evening so I'm having leftovers from the freezer--my north African chick pea and veggie stew.

We're either going to the burrito place (which would be naughty) or having turkey meatball subs (which would be nice)!

Last night we had a homepride pasta bake with garlic bread and steamed veggies. It was very good for a lazy meal... Tonight is sushi with the in laws! They've never had it, so I'm taking them to my favorite sushi place. :) Yum.

I made a modification of this recipe from Ching-He Huang's Chinese Food Made Easy

Instead of chicken I used firm tofu, instead of egg noodles I used rice noodles, instead of beansprouts, I used mangetout and I used a combination of shitakes and oyster mushrooms, and I added in brocolli and baby leeks as well.

It was so good! And I have leftovers for lunch!

I wonder what vegetables are Florida vegetables?

The soup was a dry packet soup it was very nice I tried some of his soup.  ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

I think were either having pork chops or skinless chicken breasts either of them will be done on the GF grill, for sides I'm having a baked sweet tater, & some steamed veggies I think Dh will have some steamed rice & possibly some other side dish.  ;)  :)

The 7 year old is having a friend over for a sleepover, while the 9 year old is off to Granny and Grandad's (she can get a bit anxious when her little sister has people over).
I'll roll out a pizza base for them, set out all the toppings, and let them make their own creations.
Once they have eaten I'll make pizzas with whatever is left over for MrRed5 and myself.

Chicken and lentil soup of some sort... making the stock now. Will probably pick up some rolls or something to have with it.  :)

May have shephard's pie or left over Minestrone Soup; but I'd kill for a curry.
