ditto
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Hubby's homemade pizza, salad & red wine.  :)

Homemade fish, chips and peas with some leftover apple pie for dessert.

Last night was Thanksgiving dinner!  [smiley=heart.gif] So:
Turkey
Stuffing
Gravy
PW's Cheesy Herbed Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes with tons of butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup
Roast Potatoes (BIL brought them because MIL had a cow at the thought of none.)
Green Bean Casserole
Cranberry Sauce
Biscuits
Crescent Rolls (from a tube! started carrying them at Tesco and brought back lots of happy memories.)

And for afters:
Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Cheesecake and
PW's Dreamy Apple Pie (courtesy of Equestrianerd)

;D

We ate there when we were in the US last month.  It was certainly tasty, especially with the ginormous margaritas!!  ;D

We are both down with colds so probably what ever is easiest.  My money is on either sandwiches or a roast because we can stick it in the oven and ignore it for 2 hours.

Roast lamb, roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips.
Pud: coconut layered brownies
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

When hubby gets home from the Lake District he can choose what we'll have.

I've made two things today with enough of both to freeze leftovers.  Either my "split pea" soup (made with chana dal insteead of peas) or my Italian-style squash veggie and red lentil soup / stew.

We usually have those with nice bread, but the deli is closed to today (usually get foccacia) so naan bread will have to do.
