Pepperidge Farm Sausalito cookies!!
« on: April 05, 2005, 12:38:14 PM »
I found 'em in Cornwall while visiting the BF. I can't remember if it was Safeway or Sainsbury, but they were there somewhere! (we went to a few different stores and I can't remember which one had the Sausalitos). I did run madly around looking for Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, but, alas, none were to be found.  :\\\'(

Goldfish are to be found in a nice little area called Salcombe at the local store.  Don't remember the name but it's the street parallel to quay.

Our Sainsbury's carrys Sausalitos, though (alas) not the Chesapeakes, nor for that matter, any of the other large Pepperidge Farm cookies.  The Sainsbury's brand "American Style" cookies from their in-house bakery are pretty good, however - especially the raspberry and white chocolate ones.

I haven't seen Goldfish crackers anywhere thus far, but the in-laws are visiting this weekend, and are bringing some!

What ho!  Goldfish!

Sweets from Heaven at Bluewater (and somewhere else...?) have Goldfish, and it's possible you can get them from CyberCandy (not positive on that).

Goldfish were my one dissapointment... I just had to buy them and they were a big bag only to realize that they had no flavour....  at least not how a remembered them.

If you look hard enough there are quite a few nice cookies around like by LU and the Belgians make some killer ones that remind me of  Pepperridge Farm.  I will write down the name the next time I see them.

The kids used to snack on them, but I did used to use them in place of breadcrumbs (!) when baking fish or chicken!  ;D
