Its the basic story of very different people having to live together once a horrible event happens. It is action, adventure, drama, comedy all wrapped in one.

I feel the same way, Anne.  I was really excited about it until I read a review yesterday -- it was going on about how "anything" can happen on the island....they mentioned polar bears and and invisible flesh-eating aliens or something like that.  ???  I'm really not down with the whole fantasy/sci-fi thing, so I really hope those kinds of things don't play too much of a part in this.....

There is not too much of that and it's not really very sci-fi at all.  It's great, and well worth the time to watch ;D

Excellent. I'll give it a go then. The adverts are really beautifully filmed. I have to admit, I'm VERY curious.... Lola and I will just have to cross our fingers that the invisible flesh-eating polar bear aliens aren't going to play a large role.  ;)

Hmmmm. Would you? Teehee. I trust you completely, Stacey. But if the first episode contains an alien, that trust will be in jeopardy!!  ;)

Hmm, I don't think there are any aliens at all.  Don't go by the first eppy for the rest of the season though.

Also it is one of those shows you better tape while you watch. I did as my son was only a few months old when it started, if you miss something you could be "lost" as why are they doing this or that.

No aliens, just cute guys who hardly wear shirts.... :P

Dominic Monaghan (Merry from Lord of the Rings) is in it, so that's enough for me  ;D

Matthew Fox ..I agree.. they are making him out to  be the  'smart' one.. I always did like The  Professor best on Gilligan's island!!

I think it starts  Tomorrow.. now that I have  DH into Desperate Housewives   (hiatus)  ..we can start on this..
