I've tried to do cornish pasties before I didn't manage to seal the pasties well enough they just ended up as tacos :-\\\\

Oooh, cool! My mum used to make them, but I've never attempted it myself. As a matter of fact, I had a delicious Philp's chicken pasty tonight! (The kind you buy frozen and uncooked and then bake at home.) It was fabulous.  ;D

DH has been waiting for this to open. He has been talking about it for months! My UP is going to Danceworks last night and having a great time at my dance class. I always have a good time, but I left feeling really good and I needed that. I'm still feeling good this morning.....I'm sore, but my body doesn't feel as tense as it has been lately.

Someone I know from another discussion board, who I have never met and never actually spoken to, has just sent me a beautiful bunch of flowers, just because I sounded a bit down!  My faith in the world is renewed...and I can tell anyone thinking of coming to the UK that Scotland is full of truly wonderful people!

Ah, Vicky, what a kind thing to do....

My UP is watching my little girl make the cutest castle with a Cheerios box and egg carton.  She had her Fisher Price little people in the turrets (egg cartons).  So creative.

Also carving a jack o' lantern.....fun.

Aw, that one where Jess' eye is peeking through the P in "Happy" is brilliant!

My UP is finishing my newspaper deadline work an hour and a half early, rather than an hour late (as has been the case lately.)

My 9 year old found a copy of Inside Soad on the train and brought it home for me.  :)  I'd never buy it myself but it was a fun read and very sweet of her.
