Did you know what you were having?

I thought this would be a fun poll for all of the mums and moms out there!

Did you want to know exactly what you were having?  Or did you want be surprised?

We both wanted to know what we were having, and since I had an abnormal scan, we had to get a CVS, so we did find out that Xan was a boy. Though we would have found out at a later scan, as he mooned me once, and there were defintely "berries" looking at me. LOL!

I wanted to be surprised but somehow I 'knew' I was having a boy. I had kind of hoped for a girl but almost 17 years later, I would not change a thing!!

I fall into the "both" category.

With my oldest, he gave us a clear shot of his equipment.

My second, we tried to find out, but he kept his legs crossed...

We figured that there are so few true surprises in the world, why ruin it?  It drove our friends and family insane, but it really didn't faze me that much.  Plus, we didn't get any overly girly or boyish clothes as gifts, which was nice.  If we have another one, I don't think I'd want to find out either.

We didnt know for sure when we had Jordan but it was a gut feeling I was having a boy.
With Brett we had a scan but the doc. said it was a girl. Surprise! Another bouncing baby boy.
With Coby we had a scan and it showed a boy
With Jack we were CERTAIN this one had to be a girl...nope..scan showed another big boy.
Maybe number FIFTH time is a charm!  :o

Be careful!  My Aunt Arlene tried a fifth time for a girl and guess what she had?  The fifth one was enough and she called it quits.

She's finally been blessed with GRANDdaughters.   ;)

Ah, well Im too old to go through another pregnancy. So Im hoping to have lots of granddaughters  someday although at my age and my youngest being just 10 months I may be too old to enjoy them when they come along!

We had a private scan b/c our local NHS didn't reveal gender.  We were told we were having a boy.  I started feeling, however, that it was a girl.  At 31 weeks, I had a further scan b/c of my hypertension.  There was an OB consult in the room and some nurses.  I remarked that I thought the baby was a girl.  And she (the OB) winked at me.  That was it.  I knew it was a girl.

With my first, I was told I was having a boy.  After my scan, they said it was a boy.  Every time I went to my OB and they listened to the heart beat, they said it was a boy.  Complete strangers would walk up to me on the street and tell me that they just KNEW I was having a boy by the way I was carrying.  Kaitlyn is now 11 1/2!  :o  With my second, I told them not to bother even guessing as I had no faith they would get it right!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
