Booked Appointment at Embassy - what next please!

I've booked our appointment at the embassy in New York for hubby's spousal visa - its for 7th June (gulps).

I booked it online and was given the confirmation letter to print out for the appointment.

Do I now have to fill in an 'online application' form and get that sent off to them.

I know which documents to take and hopefully will have them all sorted by next week - but I need to know if I have to do anything else now that I've booked the appointment.

Did you do the fast track application? 

All I've done so far is to book the appointment on line.  I am just looking at the fast track now, but I'm not 100% what to do next you see.  Also, I've not become a permanent resident to US and have only been out of UK for about 15 months, so I think I dont need to do a 'resettlement' visa for my hubby visa do I ?

The more I read, the more confusing I'm getting .. arrr..
