I'm a dark chocolate girl...so I'm not a huge fan of most 'regular' US chocolates (though I don't turn them away)...give me my organic 70% & I'm smilin'!  ;D

I don't care for Hershey's myself but I would defy anyone to suggest that M n M's are a poor man's Smarties.  Smarties are just ick - is there fruit in them or what????

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I like some American chocolate more than some British. I like York peppermint patties more than anything, and I also like PB cups. But as for plain chocolate, Thornon's > Hershey's.

once tried some hersheys kisses in New York and just didnt like the taste, probably because i was brought up on cadburys,  lindt and thorntons are the best, especially thornton champagne truffles. btw as an asides one of the main factories making sweets/candy  has just gone up in flames. Thankfully no one was hurt .Wonder if the firefighters got some freebies  ??? :)

Me too! I adore white chocolate! Thornton's is pretty good ... in the absence of Belgian choc, of course. And I'll even scarf down a Milky Bar (or two) in a pinch!
