complications
« on: June 12, 2005, 04:52:51 PM »
I have been avoiding talking about this for a while, but the longer this goes on the more I want to hear at least one person who has gone through something similar and still had a healthy baby - and I'm hoping I can get that here, or at least something close.

My progesterone level is low enough to miscarry right now, and I'm having what my OB is calling a "threatened miscarriage", meaning I'm on the fence. I'm on bed rest (whish is way more awful than it sounds) and on horomone supplements. We're hoping the low progesterone is the problem (which means it can be treated) rather than a symptom of something else, bad and inevitable. There isn't much my OB can tell me other than to Wait And See.

So I guess I'm just wondering if anyone out there has been in a relatively similar boat - with good or bad outcomes. I know my chances of keeping my little Coffee Bean alive aren't good, but there is still definitely a Chance, anyway.

Thanks guys.
Doesn't really matter now anyway, as Coffee Bean has died.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your lost little bean.  I'm so sorry to hear, even if I don't know you.   :\\\'(

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear about this.  (((((hugs)))))
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

(((hugs))) Sara.. take care of yourself and allow yourself time to grieve.  I'm so sorry.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…
