Toilettries

    What kind of toilettries are there?  Are there American brands or when I get over there am I going to have to try and find a different English brand?

Yes, there are lots of international brands that are the same in the UK and Europe as they are in the US.

Is there something specific you will want?

To be quite honest, I'm not really worried about finding stuff because I'm not really picky.  But my roommate is really picky about her shampoo and hair styling stuff.  So I'll pass this information along to her.  She'll be very grateful.  Thanks you guys!

Believe me, you'll find everything you'll need here and more regarding toiletries. If your roommate can't find the exact American brand she likes, there are perfectly good substitutes she might come to like even better. It's fun to try things out.

I brought tons of US brand stuff with me -- all my favorites. I figured I'd have enough to keep me going for a few months, and would then have friends send things over. But now I've discovered all new faves over here! I bet the same will happen for your picky roommate.
