Where to visit?
« on: June 20, 2005, 04:38:48 PM »
Ok, I've decided that if I can meet a personal goal by November, I'm going to reward myself by cashing in some FF miles and going on a mini-trip before I move to the UK after Christmas.  Guess I just got to thinking about all the places in the US that I haven't seen yet.  Anyway, given the choice, where would you go?
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

San Francisco!!! (Be sure to wear flowers in your hair.)

South Dakota, Mt Rushmore, Black Hills and the Badlands.  Not to mention lots of wide open spaces and cute prairie dogs.

I live in DC - which is why i didn't choose that. I have been to NYC - too crowded for me and I always feel lost. Seattle sounds great, but too much like England - too rainy. Never been to SF or Cali and would love to see it :)

Have fun! Let us know what you decide.

Really it all depends on how much you feel like doing on your trip.  I chose San Francisco because you can either spend every moment running around doing stuff, or be lazy and enjoy a leisurely time.  It's one of my favorite cities to visit.

After Christmas?!
I thought you were coming over this summer!!  (I must have missed something somewhere!)

I voted for San Francisco, cos i lived there for a year, and had a brilliant time going to gigs and hanging out in the biker cafes!
I'd like to go back and see some of my old haunts, and see some old pals.

I chose other: ALASKA.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Yep, it WAS going to be this summer....but I'm going to be at my present job until mid-October now (getting them through the end of the fiscal year.)  Yes, I know, I'm a total wimp....  :-[

....but the grandparents are looking forward to having Christmas and Thanksgiving w/the kiddos, and I'll get a chance to hang with my sister and her new baby for a couple of months before I go.  Maybe I could be in Edinburgh for Hogmanay....hmmmm...something to think about!

Yeah, DC weather isn't great in November, but I still pick it. I can't get enough of the museums, plus I'm a politics junkie so I love sitting in and watching Congress in session. San Francisco is lovely for a weekend, but then I'd be bored.
