i just cant help sharing this picture!!!

taken this morning in our kitchen. strainers & measuring cups make for fun times!
(& teeth, look at those teeth  ;D!!)  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

i cant believe Calvin will be a year old on friday. i love him more and more every day!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

We all should be so cute in the kitchen.

My girls always liked playing with pots and pans and big cooking spoons better than their "regular" toys when they were little like that.  My, how time zooms by so fast when it comes to our children - it's staggering.

:grins: aww thanks everyone..!!

i got the strainer out because Calvin fell over and hit his head and was crying, and he wasn't impressed with it, 'til i put it on MY head first and then i got a big smile and laugh.. (unfortunately, no pics of me wearing it as a hat though!)

he does enjoy 'non'-toy things more than his toys most of the time... he's content with an empty plastic bowl and something to hit it with..(although i know he'd be more happy to have the TV, dvd players, speakers, magazines, bin, newspapers to 'play' with!!)

ohh and ditto to the rolls on thighs remark!!! :laughs:

way to cute for words!!! My son does the same thing in the kitchen, but now when I go in there to cook, he gets the measuring cup, and instead of playing with it, he puts it up on the counter for me to use, then looks at me like, 'did I do it right?'
