Silly Ass!

My ten year old son is reading his school book to me and one of the characters just called the other one "silly ass". Hard to believe!

That would be ass as in donkey, not ars*. ;)

Yes this I understand of course but my son was embarrassed to say "ass" because he doesnt associate it with a donkey.  I just think there are other phrases that would have been more suitable for a childs book.

I agree, it is a bit shocking.  And not a thing a child would say, or hear others say.  Although I may adopt it.   :)
