Something I learned in business: "Watch every penny because pennies add up."

How I came to this conclusion is that I had clients that worked to the penny--they were wealthy and I thought one day--"There must be a reason for this." I didn't judge them, if anything I respected them because we were working exact numbers.

Of course, the proverbial 'epiphany' shortly followed! I thought--"Aha! This is why they are they are so wealthy; they watch every penny because pennies add up!"

A couple hundred dollars is a lota pennies. Go chase your state refund. ;)

"The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purposes through him. As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is 'man' in a higher sense - he is 'collective man', a vehicle and molder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind"
