Happy Dance!!
« on: August 05, 2005, 03:40:59 PM »
My dissertation is done!  FINALLY...  I still have a few tweaks to do, and a final edit but it's done.   [smiley=deal2.gif] [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  I kick ass.  Heh
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

LOL I doubt anyone is gonna want to read about how teacher morale is influenced by standardized testing and school accountability programmes.  But if you are, I'll be happy to email it.

Funny thing is I did start to read some of the Dissertations people sent in when I was working at the Uni.  I didn't get very far, but hey.

Honestly, I'd be darn interested in reading it.  The FCAT is the bane of most Florida teachers' existence - and as my mother works in the teacher's union office...truly, I would love to read it!

But AFTER the Cuban food!!!!

Thanks everyone.. it feels good to be done with it.   8)  I'm SO tired of thinking about this, writing, revising, all of it.
