Paying for student visas ...

for those of you who have applied for your student visa and paid by check or money order... did you just make it out to the consulate assigned to you?

I just need to make sure :)

It was a little while ago, but I think we just paid by credit card (and it was for a work permit visa, not a student visa) - but thought I would reply, since no one else has.
